Just like spiders Texas has to many species of ants to name them all, but the most common are Fire Ants, Crazy Ants, Pharaoh Ants and Carpenter ants

Are members of the vespid subfamily Polistinae, and include members of the subfamilies like hornets and yellowjackets and Stenogastrinae, which also make nests out of paper
